Here are some of the more common questions I've been asked and my answers. I hope they can help you. If there's anything you'd like to see up here just email me at Daniel@DanielHorner.com and I'll put it in.

Why do you strong hand load the shotgun instead of weak hand?

I spent a lot of time working on the weak hand loading. It just never came very naturally. I spent hours every evening for about 2 months to get to where I was marginal with the weak hand load. I could load 8 with a split of about 6.00 seconds. Now that I've switched over to strong hand I have a split time of 5.00 seconds (and it’s much more consistent) , and it only took a couple of dedicated weeks of practicing in the evening to get there.

What do you paractice the most?
I practice pistol the most. Probably two to three times as much as any other gun. Pistol shooting is the most difficult of the three to master. I practice entering and exiting possitions, very small steel targets, and shooting on the move. If I can shoot a pistol doing these things a rifle and shotgun is easy.
What should new shooter's practice?

Pistol: Small 6" x 6" plates, manipulaing the safties and loading/unloading

Shotgun: Loading, loading, loading...

Rifle: Off-hand at 50-75 yards, and knowing your holds for long range targets

With all guns you should be very comfortable with manipulating the safties, the loading/unloading of the guns, and how to clear any potential malfunctions

What zero do you use with your rifle?
I use a 100 yard zero. With my bullet, rifle, and scope combo it makes the trajectory match the rectical in my Z6I exactly. 1 MIL is 300 yards, 2 MILs is 400 yards, 3 MILs is 500 yards, and 6 MILs is ~600 yards.
Why use the 38 Super instead of .40 or 9mm?
I use the 38 super simply because it feeds more reliably. I shoot the exact same load as most other 9mms, but the longer case just feeds alot better in my STI.
